Oh yay! Yet one more tool to let you know just how f-cked you are in the event of a nuclear attack. Now if you really didn't know a nuclear blast was a bad thing then it's time to go back to school. The Nuclear Weapon Effects Calculator does a pretty nice job of showing just how big a bomb needs to be to really mess up your commute. Now Eric Meyer has taken it to the next level [read: used Google Maps] to give us the High-Yield Detonation Effects Simulator.
Don't get me wrong I love little tools like this, and I greatly admire Eric's MapsAPI prowess, but if the mainstream media ever got a hold of something like this it would be a field-day of fear. And really... what is the likelihood?
In the meantime maybe you should check out a nice website that covers California. Because [damn!], that is actually scary.
