A web design details blog updated daily for inspiration and learning purposes, Devils in the Details looks at the little things in websites that can make big improvements. This is interesting as much for Interface Devlopers, but it can also inspire designers with what people on the web are doing right now.

I found out about DitD from StlyeGala, which is also worth checking out for its web standards discussions and articles.

Visualizing Data in Wireframes

Dan Brown (no not that Dan Brown, the other one) posted an interesting article at Boxes & Arrows a while back titled "Visualizing Content and Data in Wireframes". In it he describes most of the pitfalls of the most common types of visualization, from Lipsum to Real Content, depending on who is looking at the document. Now Dan has posted a great .pdf on his site which ties it all together:

Visualizing Data in Wireframes(PDF - Large) is a must see, and the larger you can print it out the better.

PSP

official_psp_design.jpg So it has been a week+ now with the PSP and I have to say it's everything I'd hoped for. To start I should say I did get a perfect-condition unit: there were no dead pixels; no loose parts; the battery lasts a long time.

To put it mildly, the games are amazing! I don't even think the Gretzky game that I was forced to buy is that bad, although probably only because I don't know any better not being a hockey game fan. Not since the TurboGraphix 16 have the graphics on a handheld been so close to its console equivelant. I've also tried out the ad hoc wireless and although it could be a bit easier to start and find games, once connected it was seemless and fun.
