Wow if there's one thing that can make you feel older, it's when the convention you went to as a young lad was at number 4 and now it's at 22! I'm talking about Pandemonium 22 of course. Now I only even remembered it because I've been feeling the urge to play some of the boardgames/wargames I did in my early teen years.

I can't believe I never thought of this until I saw it over at Airbag! If you dig the eastern movies a great resource is the Apple.jp Quicktime Movie Trailers page. A lot of the content are just American movies ported over, but there are some East Asian gems as well, worth either clicking randomly or using google to translate. Personally I'm really looking forward to seeing Lorelei, but you can also catch trailers for movies like New Police Story and some wierd shit like God Diva or the funtastic Kung Fu Hustle which I wanted to see at the film festival but the print got wrecked. Everything here requires Quicktime (of course)... enjoy.
Picked up/bought and downloaded a copy of Slide Show Pro today. I haven't had the chance to actually play with it yet, but I was so impressed I couldn't resist. I can immediately see that I can use it for: a possible redesign of bostich.com, a re-imagining of my costa rica trip photo journal, possibly even relaunching subpixel.ca (less likely).
